Valentina was discovered with a pack of stray/abandoned dogs nursing 9 puppies in January. We spring into action to bring Valentina and her little ones to safety before an approaching deep freeze. Unfortunately they fell ill with parvo and required immediate medical intervention. Eight of the 9 puppies survived, are growing strong and receiving vaccines. They are available for adoption. Valentina is their mom and a black shepherd is the father.
We discovered in the process that Valentina is mostly blind. It’s hard to tell because she makes eye contact with you when you speak to her. She likes attention humans large and small and lived peacefully with other dogs in the past. It’s a miracle she survived the streets in her condition with a litter of puppies in tow. Now let’s find this little treasure a home of her own!
