Say hello to Doobie Charles! 
He is coming into rescue as an owner surrender. Doobie is 4 years old and looking for a fresh start due to changes in his family’s circumstances. He’s also decided that living with another male dog just isn’t his thing, and cats are just too tempting to chase. He was so so loved, and his owner is devastated to have to surrender him. Please hold any nasty comments as her decision was not made lightly, and she did the best thing by contacting a rescue to help her.
Doobie is crate trained, housebroken and loves his toys (and is happy to share!), but could use a little work on his leash manners. He’d do best with kids 12+, a physically fenced yard, and either as an only or with an easygoing female dog.
But here’s the best part… Doobie is an absolute clown. He’s a total mush who wiggles with happiness, leans his whole body into you for affection and has absolutely no concept of personal space. If you’re sitting down, he assumes there’s room for him too! He’s goofy, loving and always ready to make you laugh; a typical boxer if you will.
