Our Dolly came into rescue on the very day we learned of Dolly Parton’s passing. The timing felt meaningful, and we knew this little lady needed help. ❤️
Dolly was abandoned when her family moved away, leaving her outside in a gated yard in the heat without regular meals, fresh water or shelter. Yet somehow, this tough little girl kept going.
And she certainly has a little Dolly Parton spirit of her own—tough, charming and ready to be loved. 💗
Dolly knows how to sit, walks nicely on leash and is incredibly sweet with people, including little people. She’s about 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated and has started her heartworm treatment.
She is dog selective, so she’d prefer to choose her canine friends carefully. And when it comes to thunderstorms, Dolly would rather stand for the good life than weather a storm alone. ⛈️😉
After everything she’s been through, Dolly is ready for a soft bed, a safe home and a family who will never leave her behind.
