Colette

And then, just to keep things interesting, all 10 ended up developing respiratory infections and a few were hospitalized with pneumonia. It was a bumpy road for a while, but we kept going.

Today, all 10 are comfortable in homes. In fact, 9 out of 10 have been adopted!

We’re finishing up the last of their vet care, and then we’ll be doing a massive update on this entire group so you can see just how far these dogs have come.

But today, we want to re-introduce you to the final Cincy baby still waiting for her forever home.

Meet Colombia, now known as Cosette.

Cosette is about 1–2 years old, healthy and spayed, and she’s slowly gaining weight, confidence, and trust. She absolutely loves other dogs, and her canine friends have been so important in teaching her what it means to simply be a dog.

She’s still timid and unsure of new surroundings, and we don’t have any history with little kids. But she is a total sweetheart who is making progress every day.

For Cosette, a fenced yard is a must right now. She isn’t comfortable walking on a leash or navigating unfamiliar places yet, so having a safe space where she can take things at her own pace will be important.

She has already come SO far. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the time and patience to discover how good life can be.

9 Cincy dogs have found their people. Can we find Cosette hers?
