She was found in the middle of nowhere — shaking, skeletal, and so desperate to survive that she was eating plastic.
She had been forgotten. ![]()
This week, we were asked to save her, and without hesitation, we said yes.
She needed help immediately, and turning away was never an option.
She fought to survive. Now we’re fighting alongside her.
We’re working closely with veterinarians to determine what comes next, but one thing is certain: she will never be alone again.
Her name is Lila, in honor of a boxer we lost last week — a reminder of why we show up, even when it breaks our hearts. ![]()

If you’re able, please consider donating to Lila’s care. Every dollar is food, medical care, and time — and it’s how we keep saving dogs who have been discarded and left behind. ![]()
