Escargot Update — She’s in a Foster Home!

Great news for sweet Escargot — she’s officially out of boarding and settling into a foster home, and she’s doing so well already. 💕

After slow, thoughtful introductions, Escargot is happily coexisting with the resident male Boxer. She’s shown little interest in livestock (a win!), though she does find wildlife like raccoons and squirrels very exciting — understandable for a curious girl. 🐿️😅

She does pull on leash, but here’s the impressive part: training has been going really well in just 48 hours. She’s smart, responsive, and eager to learn.

As a reminder, Escargot ended up in our care through no fault of her own after her adopter received a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis. Through all the change, she’s remained a loving, sweet dog who just wants stability and kindness.

Escargot at a glance:
• 3 years old
• 50 lbs
• Friendly & sweet
• Good with other dogs
• Not cat tested
• Up-to-date on vaccines
• Will be spayed

We’re so grateful she has a soft place to land, but Escargot is still looking for her forever home. A calm home, continued training, and a comfy couch would be her dream come true.
