Meet OZZIE & HARRIET – Two stunning boxers who landed in an overcrowded shelter as strays. Their past is a mystery but they have been showered with love since we spotted them. They love love and aren’t afraid of public displays of affection.
HARRIET – You may remember Harriet from $5 Friday a few weeks ago. She went into labor within 24 hours of arriving at her foster home. Harriet was so thin no one realized she was pregnant in the shelter. Sadly, Harriet was incredibly malnourished and parasite ridden so only 2 puppies survived.
The good news is Harriet is healing and she’s happy. She eats lots of delicious meals (thanks to generous donors), is gaining weight and receiving vet care she didn’t in the past. She’s affectionate and friendly with people, dogs and cats. She would prefer to be by your side than in the crate but she’s not a complainer. Foster Mom says Harriet is her little shadow
OZZIE – Ozzie is still learning how to be a dog. He feels safest in his crate and spends much of the day there even though he has freedom. Ozzie has canine & feline friends but play is foreign concept for this quiet boy. We can’t wait to see more wiggles as the big fella relaxes
OZZIE & HARRIET are buddies but not bonded. They can be adopted together but it’s not a requirement. If you can provide a loving home for one or both of these sweet spirits, please apply!
