Meet Lucy! 🐾
Lucy is currently in a loving foster home in Connecticut, recovering from a very rough start to life. She was found severely emaciated and dragging her hind leg, yet despite the pain, fear, and hunger she endured, Lucy remains one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet.
Lucy adores people — she wiggles with joy just to be near you and loves being part of the action. She’s been an absolute angel at the vet and is an excellent patient. At home, she happily settles into her crate for some much-needed rest and is very food-motivated (her adopter should be ready to keep her stocked with plenty of bully sticks!).
Lucy is currently living with other dogs in her foster home. While their bursts of energy can sometimes make her a bit nervous, she could do well with a calm male dog companion or thrive as the only dog in the home.
