Hello, my name is NALA!

I am a 5 year old reverse brindle German Boxer. I am a large girl but very gentle so I don’t jump up on people. I spent my life having puppies, separated from other dogs and now it’s my turn to be adopted!

I love to run and play in my foster’s fenced backyard. I need moderate exercise and like to show off my goofy Zoomies. Then, I’m a couch potato. I love cuddles, belly rubs and being a big lap dog. I forget sometimes that I can’t fit on everyone’s lap..

I know basic commands: sit, stay, paw, come, inside, up and they’re still trying to figure out what else I know (probably a lot more, I’m a smarty pants ). We are working on leash manners and being brave around loud cars and noises. Nobody is perfect but I’m close.

I am housebroken, crate trained and I love my people! I walk right in my crate when you say “inside” and point but I really love to share a bed or couch with my humans. I snore very quietly and I’m not a restless sleeper. I would do best in an only dog home. I previously lived with children of all ages and a cat.
