The dynamic duo Roscoe & Riley came to CH Boxer Rescue as owner surrenders. They were clearly not being cared for and it’s safe to say they are more loved in rescue than ever before. We obtained old vet records for them and Roscoe lost 30lbs in the last year and Riley lost 15lbs. Roscoe should be about 80lbs at a healthy weight and Riley, who is a peanut, should be about 50lb. Who could watch animals withering away like that and not ask for help? Luckily a good samaritan noticed their condition deteriorating and intervened.
Roscoe & Riley are at our vet and on a refeeding schedule. Despite poor body conditions they are happy and enjoy playtime in the yard. They are sweet with every person they’ve met and enjoyed riding in the car. They are estimated to be 5 years old and seem bonded. Ideally we will find them a home together. They are neutered, vaccinated and ready for adoption!
