Meet Scarlett. At just 5 years old, she is finally getting her chance to leave the puppy mill behind.
The farmer told our volunteer that Scarlett has “aged out” of his breeding program. We’re looking for a foster home ASAP so we can welcome this sweet girl into rescue.
Scarlett is friendly with the male dogs on the property and is especially fond of a little Beagle who lives with her in the barn.
Like so many mill girls, she needs very little beyond patience, kindness, and a safe environment as she learns what it means to simply be a dog.
*A fenced yard is a bonus, as Scarlett isn’t accustomed to leash walking to potty. Please help us if you can! The link below is to complete the application to foster or adopt.
