What a difference a week makes in the life of a dog. You may remember sweet Trixie arriving to rescue after having spent her entire life being used for breeding at a puppy mill. She was scared, shut down and unfamiliar with any type of attention from humans. She didn’t know how to walk up the stairs, what a soft dog bed was, toys, treats and just about any creature comfort was new to her. Today she is absolutely thriving in her foster home! She loves the company of another dog, and we love the security of a physical fence, so we are requiring both for her. She is 4 years old and dog and kid friendly, no cats. Trixie is currently in foster on Long Island, and will be ready for her forever home on September 16th once all of her vet care is complete.
